The Mainers tallied another run in the sixth inning to make it a 4-2 contest by way of an RBI double from left fielder Calvin Hewett (Vanderbilt University), and a three-run seventh gave the visiting team an even bigger cushion. Winnipesaukee leadoff hitter and center fielder Joshua Rodriguez (Rutgers University) crushed a three-run home run in his squad’s final inning to make it a 7-5 game, but that would be all she wrote in this one.

Game 2: Sanford Mainers 1, Winnipesaukee Muskrats 2
